Amanda Kana is an active trombone instructor and performer in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. She is a member of Center Stage Brass and performed summer concert tours in Germany with Eurobrass in 2016 and 2017. She has participated in the Brevard Music Center Festival, the Spectrum Brass Seminar, and the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific and has performed at the Texas Music Educators Association convention, the College Band Directors National Association convention, the International Trombone Festival, and the Eastern Trombone Workshop (now known as the American Trombone Workshop).

A native of Katy, Texas, Amanda received a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics with a Minor in Music, summa cum laude, from Baylor University and a Masters of Music in Trombone Performance from Texas Christian University. Her primary teachers include Dr. David Begnoche and Brent Phillips.
