Hillwood and Parkwood Hill Bands

The Hillwood Middle School Band is a vibrant sweepstakes winner consisting of three large performing ensembles- Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble- in addition to two jazz ensembles. During their time at Hillwood, students are able to enjoy many performing opportunities, including UIL All-Region Auditions, Solo Contest, Chamber Music and of course our many concerts that take place throughout the year. The goal of the Hillwood Band Program is to provide our students with the highest quality music education and instill in them the life skills they will need on the road to becoming the best version of themselves that they can be. Once their journey through middle school is complete, Hillwood band students will move on to Keller Central High School.

The Parkwood Hill Band is where Hillwood MS and Keller Central HS students begin their musical journey. Students are divided into homogeneous classes and are able to learn one of the following instruments: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Euphonium, Trombone, Tuba, or Percussion. Throughout the year, students in the Parkwood Hill Band perform three concerts, participate in solo contest, and begin to develop lifelong friendships by attending special events like our Putt-Putt and Main Event trips!
