Ben Gerkins

About Ben

Ben is currently studying at the University of North Texas earning his Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance. Originally from Kentucky, Ben earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Murray State University.

Ben has been teaching trumpet lessons in public schools for 5 years, and is more than excited to connect with the students in Keller ISD. Ben is a versatile performer with experience in a wide range of styles and ensembles, including recording and performing with the North Texas Wind Symphony.
