About Dr. jason Davis

Dr. Jason Davis enjoys a varied career of teaching and performing.  He currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Music at Tarrant County College NW and Visiting Instructor of Western Music at the University of Lagos, teaching courses such as American Music, Music Appreciation, Applied Piano, and Applied Bassoon.  As a performer, he has played with orchestras such as Fort Worth Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Long Beach Opera, San Diego Symphony, among others.  Dr. Davis believes all students deserve to have a positive experience in music and excels teaching students of varied learning styles. Dr. Davis holds degrees from the Redlands Conservatory of Music and Texas Tech University. He has studied with Richard Meek, Hollie Lohff, Eric Stomberg, George Sakakeeny, Judith Farmer, Kim Walker, and Rose Corrigan.
