Kevin Grainger

About Kevin

A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Kevin Grainger holds degrees from Indiana University (BM), and Boston University (MM, PD). During his primary studies, Mr. Grainger studied with notable bassoonists such as Kathleen McLean, Gregg Henegar, and Nancy Goeres. As an active freelance musician, Mr. Grainger has performed with groups such as the Cape Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. Apart from teaching, Mr. Grainger is excited to be in Dallas and explore the arts and culinary scene the city has to offer.
