about Parker

Specializing in the tuba, Parker Burkey is a teacher and performing artist from western Colorado. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the University of North Texas, where he received his BM in performance as well.  While studying the tuba with Donald Little, he performed with UNT's most prestigious wind bands and symphony orchestras. In addition to teaching tuba and euphonium students across the DFW area, he has also performed with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra and the New Texas Symphony Orchestra.
